In this teaching, the brother spoke on end times and our stand and intercession for Israel. These are some verses I’d like to share with you that you too might cry out for the people of the Land: Joel 2:17 Let the priests, who minister to YHWH, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, "Spare Your people, O YHWH, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?' " 18 Then YHWH will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. 19 YHWH will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.
After the service we were invited into the home of one of the elders. He is one who has been in Israel for 30 years. Following are some of his thoughts: The Lord has to do a very hard work in our heart….to change us into His image. The greatest testing of all times is a life of ease.
He also spoke to us about the moment when he became on fire for Israel. A sister gave a message on what the Scriptures have to say about Israel and the heart of God. At the end she said, “Who will give their life for Israel?” He said the entire congregation stood up. It is a story of love that continues here in the Land amongst the people of the community.
