March 4 - Jerusalem!

Psalm 122:1-4 A Song of Ascents. Of David. I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go into the house of YHWH." Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together, Where the tribes go up, The tribes of YHWH, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of YHWH.

Making Aliyah! Going up to Jerusalem!

Kosher McDonalds!

City on a hill.

Judean wilderness to the east of Jerusalem.

A shepherd and his sheep, at the base of the Mount of Olives.

The many graves in front of the Temple.

The Eastern gate (built by the Turks) of the Temple and the graves the Moslem's have put in order to desecrate the Temple and prevent the Messiah from entering!

The Southeastern corner of the Temple.

City of David. The city is not within the walls. This is where the Ark returned and David danced. After David got in trouble for counting his people, he was lead to the buy the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite which became the site of the Temple.

Actual destruction to the street from 70 A.D.

Ancient mikveh baths for those entering the Temple. Baptism was not a new concept! It represented a change in status.

The Southern wall. These arches were tunnels that went up to the Temple Mount.

The long line leading up to the Temple Mount.

We made it through the door! These are the arched doorways in front of the Al Aksa mosque.

These are the skylights showing where the Moslems dug underneath for some sort of meeting area. They weakened the walls to the South and destroyed many ancient artifacts as they hauled them away as trash. You may have heard this on the news the last couple years.

The line of vision from the Holy of Holies to the Mount of Olives. Imagine Yeshua praying on the Mount of Olives, looking towards the Temple in His grief. The Mount of Olives is also where the Red Heifer sacrifice was done and what many believe would have been the sight of the crucifixion. For from here it would have been a straight shot for the centurion to see the curtain of the Temple torn.

The infamous mosque on the Temple Mount.

Walking through the Arab quarters.

Entering the Jewish quarters.

Prayers at the Western Wall.

Prayer notes in the Wall.

A young girl praying.

Where are the watchmen on the Wall?

A Jewish home taking a stand in the midst of an Arab area.

Southern Jerusalem

Psalm 122:6-9 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces." For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, "Peace be within you." Because of the house of YHWH our Elohim I will seek your good.
