March 6th - Shabbat

A tidbit from Shabbat teaching – if our tongue has been sanctified, than all of us speak one unified language, glorifying the Lamb.

Tonight we were blessed to have a visit in the community from John and Una Gere. The couple lives in the city of David in Jerusalem amidst the Arabs. They run a sort of “walking on the water” ministry that includes a 24 hour prayer room, that has been operating for 5 years. The room looks over the Hinnon Valley of Jerusalem, the location near the Temple where children were once sacrificed.

From John and Una - don’t pray the problems, pray the solutions.

John and Una live a faith walk, knowing that they are doing the Father’s work and understanding that He will protect and provide for them. They have travelled the world by His sustenance, seeing houses of prayer established in Syria, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, northern Iraq, and China. They have seen many people travelling the old silk road in China back to Jerusalem. John and Una feel they are forerunners, preparing for others to come behind them, returning to Jerusalem.

Isaiah 62:10 – Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.

John and Una also take a prayer tour down Highway 60, which takes you down the route from Be’er Sheva, through Hebron, Mt. Moriah (Jerusalem), and Shechem. At these places, Abraham built altars and reaffirmed the covenant. All these places are under contention today! On the 60th anniversary of Israel, they took a prayer tour down highway 60, praying Isaiah 60!

Here is some of that chapter in Isaiah: Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of YHWH rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thich darkness is over the people, but YHWH rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn…. Read the whole chapter!

They also spoke on how the Father is raising up Asia! The Chinese, the Koreans, Tai’s, Japanese, all have a vision from the Father for coming back to Jerusalem! This is not from man, but from the Spirit of the Living Elohim. And it is happening in our time. It is too big to ignore.
Psalm 125:2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So YHWH surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.
